About
Myla Leung is a creative problem solver, go-getter, and entrepreneur passionate about the intersection of environmental sustainability and public health. Driven by a commitment to youth climate education, she started the Climate Health Education Initiative to make climate science accessible to students. She has also played active roles in several environmental initiatives, including the Maryland Green New Deal Coalition, Maryland Sierra Club Youth Advisory Council, Federal Plant-Powered Youth Steering Committee, and SGAP Leaders.
Myla is currently a first-year student at Harvard College, where she serves on the Council of Student Sustainability Leaders and advises nonprofits on sustainability through the Harvard Undergraduate Clean Energy Group. She believes storytelling transforms abstract climate challenges into lived realities—and strives to leverage these narratives as a catalyst for awareness, connection, and change.
