About
Carolyn Gerin has deep experience in design, art and creative direction, advertising, journalism, publishing, public outreach, and marketing, stemming from over 30 years of experience as a creative director, and branding and communications expert.
She has designed products and packaging for Williams Sonoma, published 4 books with Chronicle Books and Random House, run three creative agencies, served as Sr. Editor for an international travel magazine, and built brands for global companies, landmark public works projects for government agencies, and is an avid community builder and communicator for social good.
Carolyn has a BS in Applied Design from University of Maryland, and an MA in Interactive Design from the University of Baltimore where she served as a graduate fellow, and recipient of: the Ampersand Award, the Spirit of Excellence Award, and academic scholarship. She was accepted to serve on the 2025 Climatebase Fellowship in San Francisco, CA.
