Casey O’Brien

Casey is a climate impact strategist who uses vivid storytelling, partnership curation, and authentic community building to drive success for climate innovators. Casey has built a career on climate narrative over the last decade, as a reporter and later communications expert and marketer. Before joining the ClimateBase fellowship and the Climate Creative Lab team, Casey led marketing for Exodigo, a disruptive startup offering subsurface mapping services.

She developed a unique and influential brand voice for Exodigo through content, communications, events and visual assets. She also led content and communications for One Concern, a climate risk analytics firm. Casey began her career reporting on climate adaptation for Sierra Magazine before traveling around the globe as a freelance environmental reporter and content expert. With deep ties across the climate startup landscape, she is excited to bring her years of experience to bring Climate Creative Lab to life.
